Jacques Waguespack was born and raised in Napoleonville, Louisiana and has been a life-long resident of south Louisiana. Upon graduating from LSU Law School in 1999, his law practice focused solely on residential real estate. After starting and managing a title company, which handled more than 700 residential transactions per year, and working as the general counsel for a residential developer, Jacques moved to Chicago, Illinois. There he obtained his LL.M. with honors in Commercial Real Estate from The John Marshall Law School. While in Chicago, he worked in the real estate section of one of the ten largest law firms in the country.
Since moving back to Louisiana in 2005, he has been managing attorney for a title company handling:

- New Construction
- Multi-million Dollar Commercial Transactions
- Residential Developments
- 1031 Tax Exchanges
